Our agreement: cleaning up One River Street
Atlantic Richfield Company (AR), the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and Riverkeeper have an agreement to clean up the One River Street site. To accomplish that, AR and NYSDEC have been working together closely for the last several years to tackle the complex technical challenges involved in completing an integrated remediation plan for both the riverfront and in the Hudson River.

AR's ultimate goal is to restore this site and its tremendous potential to allow for productive re-use. With its location on the Hudson across from the beautiful Palisades, this site has tremendous possibilities for community use, as well as commercial development.

We value the cooperative relationship we have today with the government leaders of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson. We have worked together with elected officials and the administration to create a constructive atmosphere for our discussions that have moved this project forward.
