View from inside one of the buildings awaiting demolition Now that Atlantic Richfield Company (ARC), the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, the Riverkeeper and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation have agreed on a path forward, ARC has allocated the resources necessary for the project and has built a top-quality team to undertake this complex assignment.

ARC believes that the remedy selected for this site is a good one. We are committed to doing this job right. That means safely, thoroughly and expeditiously. Ultimately, our goal is to create a site that will be safe and productive for generations to come.


ARC's ultimate goal is to restore this site and its tremendous potential to productive re-use for the community. With its location on the Hudson across from the beautiful Palisades, this site has tremendous possibilities for community use as well as commercial development.
